How to make wood pellets at home?

• Gather the dried sawdust, wood shavings or wood chips.

• Put the substance through a wood pellet mill. The wood pellet mill will squeeze the wood powder or sawdust through a die that has holes. Keep high pressure on the pellets. Make sure the wood pellet mill remains at a high pressure so it will ensure the wood to soften lignin (a natural bonding substance) and hold the pellet together naturally. Then wood pellets are produced.
• Cool the wood pellets. Put the pellets in a cooler at 5 degrees Fahrenheit of ambient air temperature. Sort through to make sure there are no loose dust particles or any broken pellets. You should have only hardened and smooth wood pellets.
• Lastly, the wood pellets are ready for you to burn in a pellet stove or for sale.
